Mycelion

An ambient soundscape made of noises, synthesizer pulsations, scraps of samples, and field recordings echoes the vibrations of mycelium threads.

How do mushrooms hear the world through their endless network of connections? Klotho’s audiocollage is a metaphor for mycelium’s multifaceted interconnections with its surroundings. Like a spider’s web, impulses and signals of different frequencies and tonalities seamlessly intertwine to form a unique sonic texture.

Klotho is an ambient project by composer, DJ, and audio artist Mark Griboedov. Mark is a member of the electronic duo Yung Acid, one of the founders of the music label Get Busy, and curator of the music program of the NUR multimedia festival.
